Twelve-palace detail, six annual readings and birth-time-dependent material appear only when the saved chart evidence supports them. Missing scope is disclosed rather than guessed, and earlier saved reports remain unchanged.
Coverage checks establish completeness, not the truth of every interpretation. The verification record separately lists calculation tests, school differences and unresolved reference fields. Birth-time range comparison and a multi-school selector are not included in these controls.
Zi Wei Dou Shu: Coverage and Calculation Conventions
The chart is calculated first. Its palaces, stars, and timing facts then support the complete reading and follow-up questions.
- Chart structure
- 12 palaces and 14 major stars, with Life and Body Palaces, supporting stars, Four Transformations, San Fang Si Zheng, and flying-star relationships.
- Patterns and structures
- 34 registered labels, including classical patterns and separately identified OpenFate structures. A chart displays matching labels, not the entire registry; schools may use different conditions.
- Report timing
- Decade-cycle context and 6 consecutive annual readings. Years, palace placements, and transformation facts come from the calculated profile; AI supplies the explanation.
- Declared school
- Zhongzhou in the Wang Tingzhi lineage, with the declared Wang Tingzhi Four Transformations table, Lunar New Year boundary, and split-leap-month convention. Compare time correction and day-boundary settings before comparing charts.
- Verification scope
- Focused tests cover chart construction, star and palace relationships, leap months, time boundaries, annual facts, and report contracts. Registry reachability checks are distinct from independently adjudicated reference charts.
These are product and verification scopes, not a claim of universal school agreement, independent certification, or scientifically proven prediction accuracy.

From birth data to a reading
The calculation fixes the calendar, time, palaces, stars and timing layers before AI interpretation. Start with birth data and settings, then check the Life and Body Palaces, the trine and opposing palaces, Four Transformations, and decade and annual context.
The public record covers 12 palaces, 14 major stars and 34 registered pattern and structure rules. A pattern condition can be met, not met or unknown. Missing information is not favorable evidence. Palace strength scores are OpenFate heuristics, not traditional measurements or probabilities.
Time and school settings
OpenFate declares the Zhongzhou / Wang Tingzhi convention. The birth year, annual cycles and nominal age change at Lunar New Year. Life Master and Body Master use the birth-year branch; these are distinct from the locations of the Life and Body Palaces.
Compare solar versus lunar input, the leap-month flag, coordinates, time-zone offset or IANA zone, daylight saving, true solar time and the day boundary. True solar time can change the two-hour branch. Late Zi time defaults to a 23:00 day change; the midnight option preserves the civil date until 00:00. An unknown birth time must remain disclosed as unknown.
Leap months use the declared split-half convention: the first half follows the preceding month and the second half the next month. Other schools may place the Life Palace or Zi Wei differently. Four Transformations use the declared Wang Tingzhi table; brightness follows the pinned engine tables. A source disagreement remains open until adjudicated.
What an evidence panel establishes
Resident stars and borrowed stars are separate. Natal Four Transformations, palace-stem flying transformations and annual layers must not be interchanged. A rule panel exposes the required conditions, observed facts and failed or unknown conditions.
Career and wealth citations bind each topic to its recorded placement, permitted tendency and qualifications. A valid citation ID does not prove the paragraph is correct. Full synthesis also needs context, contrary evidence and proportionate uncertainty; a star list cannot establish a job, income or future event.
One chart, connected evidence
A synthetic chart with a fixed 2026 annual anchor. The two passages are deterministic editorial examples grounded in this chart, not paid AI reports or expert endorsements. Publicly displayed placements and five-language explanations are separated from the protected rule library.

Resident star basis
Suited to building within systems, platforms and institutions — managing process, resources and structure; wins come from order and accumulation rather than one-off bursts.
Career and money are a COMBINATION TENDENCY: direction is classified from resident (or borrowed) major stars in the career and wealth palaces, with brightness and natal transformations added as conditions. It does not include triad palaces, malefic convergence, palace-stem transformations, or decade and annual cycles. Under the full Zhongzhou method it is directional reference only — never fate, and never citable at the same level as hard chart-placement facts.
This supports a conditional combination tendency only. It cannot establish occupation, income, a particular year or a guaranteed outcome.

Selected reference comparisons
Two synthetic, non-leap inputs were recorded on 14 September 2026 as limited external calculation references. Exact coordinates and time correction were not fully available, and the settings differ. These are not independently adjudicated charts or paid-report reviews.
Source and editorial review
Citation IDs can be valid while the prose is wrong. The blind-review kit includes deliberate placement errors, unsupported outcomes and star-list controls. Two independent human reviewers must assess facts, source support, synthesis, specificity, uncertainty and readability. Professional review is pending; no scores are invented.
