How the combination reading is made
What the combination reading needs, how its two or three charts are compared before any writing, how the text is written and checked, and what it cannot tell you.
Overview
The combination reading looks at one person through two or three systems — Bazi, Zi Wei Dou Shu and Western astrology — calculated separately and compared by fixed rules before the AI writes. It is not a compatibility reading, and it does not merge the systems into one score.
What it needs
- It needs a birth date, time, place and gender; you choose two or three systems, and the choice is sealed with the chart before the reading starts.
- True solar time, the 23:00 day boundary and daylight-saving handling are applied as in the single-chart readings.
- An uncertain birth time does not stop the reading, but Western house facts are then left out of the comparison so that no agreement is invented.
What is calculated before any writing
- Each engine calculates its own chart without borrowing another system's rules; if any selected engine fails, the whole reading fails and is refunded.
- Before any writing, code compares the charts on three points: the element language, each system's own strength scale and the life areas each system emphasises.
- An area counts as agreement only when every selected system points to it; support from some but not all is partial agreement, never a majority vote.
- A six-part matrix (core self, career, wealth, love, stress and timing) is decided by the engine, with core self, stress and timing always marked not comparable, and the key years of the coming decade are fixed by the engine too.
Which facts it may use and how they are cited
- Each system's chart facts are given to the AI in full, under the same rules for all systems, and the reading cites them in plain words, such as a year, the system and the fact.
- The AI must follow the engine's comparison and may not change a verdict or add a comparison of its own.
- Every sentence must rest on a feature of this chart; sentences that would fit anyone are not allowed.
How the text is written and checked
- The text is written by AI and checked before delivery.
- A missing section or field blocks the draft and it is written again. Interpretation wording is model-authored, not a statement independently verified by these checks.
- Style checks and checks on how precisely the text names its evidence are kept as internal warnings and do not block delivery.
- If the reading cannot meet the required completeness checks, it fails and the charge is refunded.
Saving and follow-up
- The chart facts and the written reading are saved together; opening the report later lays them out again without calling the AI or recalculating.
- You can ask follow-up questions in the report's chat, which reads the saved facts, the comparison and the reading.
How you can check it
- The charts come from the same engines as the single-chart readings, which have published verification summaries.
- The comparison rules are covered by OpenFate's own tests. These are our tests, not an independent certification, and the comparison step has no public replay.
Membership and payment
- The combination reading requires an active membership and each reading is charged; the charge is refunded if the reading cannot be completed.
- Payment covers the written reading, not a more accurate chart: the charts come from the same calculation as the free chart tools.

- It does not predict events and does not recommend investments, income targets or trades.
- It does not read anyone else's mind or state another person's feelings or consent.
