Cast a nine-palace hour chart for this moment. The board is calculated first; optional AI explains it without changing any placement.
Qi Men Dun Jia guide
Cast a free Qi Men Dun Jia (QMDJ, also written Qimen Dunjia) hour chart for the moment you ask. OpenFate calculates and fixes the earth and heaven plates, Nine Stars, Eight Gates, Eight Gods, chief star, and chief door first, so you can inspect every placement before optional AI explains the visible board.
Review OpenFate’s calculation and validation methodQi Men Dun Jia is a time-and-space divination system. A chart is fixed for a specific moment, then the reader locates the palace that represents the question and examines its gate, star, deity, stems, element, strength, and relationship to other relevant palaces.
A single auspicious symbol is never enough to decide the whole reading. OpenFate evaluates the board as a system: which palace carries the question, what supports or controls it, whether the useful gate has force, and what timing or direction is actually supported. The result remains conditional rather than absolute.
A strictly validated wall-clock moment and topic are frozen before the server builds the complete hour-Qimen board. Palaces, plates, stems, stars, gates, deities, Chief Star/Gate, voids, travel flags, and supported patterns remain deterministic engine facts.
Reference basis
This is a rotating-plate hour-Qimen implementation using Chaibu segmentation and fixed-offset civil time—not every Qimen school and not true solar time. Alternative lineages require a separately named method and new fixtures.
Yes. The current-moment chart and complete computed board are free without login or credits. AI readings cost 10 credits each, or are included with Pro Max. Verify your email, then tap Claim to receive your first 10 credits. All verified accounts, including paid members, can claim 10 credits once per day, up to 10 claims (100 credits) per calendar month, including the first claim. Failed readings do not use credits.
The hour chart changes with calendrical time. The solar term, yin or yang dun, ju, xun, chief star, chief door, and palace placements all depend on the selected moment.
They are three major layers placed across the nine palaces. Each describes a different dimension of action, condition, and context, and must be read together with the stems and palace relationships.
This tool is an hour chart for a question or decision at a particular moment. It is not the same as a natal Bazi or Ziwei chart designed to describe long-term life structure.
No. OpenFate fixes the casting moment and calculates the solar term, yin or yang dun, ju, xun, plates, stars, gates, gods, chief star, chief door, and palace placements first. AI can explain that visible board, but it cannot recast the moment, move a symbol, or invent a missing placement.
